More than 30 manufacturers and designers present their projects, showcasing the latest trends in Austrian design, driven by creativity and experimentation Set within the historic Palazzo Confalonieri in the heart of the Brera Design District, the exhibition showcases projects that blend tradition, quality, and an innovative spirit, core values at the heart of Austrian design. The concept behind „ Design Palazzo Austria “, developed by the award‑winning architecture studio Vasku & Klug , is both simple and striking: a deep blue scenography creates an elegant, refined atmosphere, placing the spotlight on products of the highest quality. The exhibition spans furniture, home accessories, lighting, tableware, school furnishings, and outdoor solutions. The historic setting of Palazzo Confalonieri , a 17th-century building in the heart of Milan, perfectly complements the modernity of the collections on display, offering visitors a unique experience that dialogues between historic architecture and contemporary design. This encounter is expressed through forms, materials, and colours, providing a distinctive interpretation of “ Made in Austria ” products. “ Design Palazzo Austria ” brings together renowned brands alongside emerging talents and young designers debuting during Design Week.
