LIGHT BY CENTIMETER During Milan Design Week, DESIGN LUCE presents Light by Centimeter , an exhibition that showcases the company's essence: the ability to transform an aluminum model into a lamp designed and crafted precisely to fit a space. Each lighting element stems from a tailored approach to light, where the project takes shape centimeter by centimeter, adapting to the architectural needs. The exhibition is an opportunity to present new products that expand the company's formal and functional research: SNODATO , a flexible system that introduces movement and articulation; VIRGOLA , a luminous handrail that integrates light and architectural function into a single, continuous design; COLOR , a direct and indirect light wall lamp that explores the possibility of combining different light flows with finishes; OLIMPIA SOUND , a system that integrates light with sound-absorbing elements designed to improve the acoustic comfort of spaces; and MANCORRENTE , a handrail that translates a historic architectural element into a contemporary icon capable of combining memory, function, and innovation. Alongside its new products, DESIGN LUCE presents a selection from its collection: lighting systems that showcase the company's longstanding research into aluminum as a design element. Essential solutions, designed to interact with architecture and adapt precisely to space, where light becomes a constructed line integrated into the project. The installation, curated by HABITS design, translates the company's founding principle: custom lighting. The display uses materials typical of the construction site to evoke the construction process and emphasize the custom nature of the products. Grid elements crisscross the exhibition space like an ordering grid, recalling the graph paper on which technical drawings are created: a grid that becomes the physical structure and symbol of the project, where each line finds its precise location. Light by Centimeter is therefore a narrative of space and light as precision instruments, where design, technique, and planning come together to create truly customized lighting solutions.
