Materia 2.0 hosts a special installation that interprets the theme “Be the Project” through 12 moodboards, including two large-scale pieces measuring 4 sqm each. New design languages are explored, transforming products, surfaces, and textures into a three-dimensional narrative. The moodboards thus become autonomous exhibition elements, capable of translating intuitions and experimentation into concrete visions of contemporary and future living. Within the 500 sqm material library, visitors are guided through a dialogue between natural, artisanal, industrial, and regenerated materials. For the occasion, the space is enriched with new product categories: technical elements such as handles and windows, interpreted as architectural thresholds; traditional materials like gypsum and cement reimagined in a contemporary way; polystyrene in unexpected forms; acrylic and mineral-based composites; products derived from the reuse of textile waste; lightweight cocciopesto slabs. Completing the experience is the presentation of a 350-page photographic volume that brings together ten years of research on over 500 manufacturers, positioning itself as a manifesto that connects memory and future visions of matter.
